Tracie’s clear and structured approach, combined with her enthusiasm for Internal Audit matters, has created great value for our international and diverse audit team. Tracie has helped us make our audit reports significantly more valuable to the organization despite an already high level of skill in the team. As a result of these positive experiences, we extended our cooperation with Tracie to include effective communication for internal auditors and presenting audit results to the Board. If you want to raise your results to a higher level, Tracie is the right expert!

Before Tracie created a customized workshop specifically for my team, we were struggling to achieve our KPI. Now, my team consistently achieves our internal report writing KPI, and my investment in review and editing time has decreased significantly.
Steffen Lacher Area Audit Director NEECA - Northern, Eastern Europe and Central Asia July 13, 2017
Tracie’s expertise has enabled our audit team to streamline our audit reports, describe risks more precisely, and write at a consistently higher quality level across the team. Our findings, risk and recommendations have become more focused and more value added to the business. My team is writing at a consistently higher level, and very important for me personally, the time it takes me to review a draft report has been cut by over 50%. That means I can focus on more important issues every day.

If you require a very well-organised, diligent and creative person to help your business, then look no further than Tracie. She is an excellent coach with first-class teaching skills who can help you to maximise your business’ potential to the full. She is patient and takes her time to explain concepts very clearly and understandably. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracie to any business.

Our in-house workshop with Tracie helped us add structure and clarity to our audit reports. Using criteria, condition, cause and risk allows us to clearly show our stakeholders the issues we identified and the impact to the business. Our recommendations now use consistent language that is actionable and measurable, which will make follow-up easier. The workshop was also an excellent opportunity to bring the team together, share ideas and have some fun at the same time.

“Think before you ink” – that was one of the key messages I received during a great training session for advanced audit report writing with Tracie. After the training, my attitude to writing an audit report changed significantly. Tracie is able to change your way of your thinking before you actually start typing the first lines. How to make the arguments more compelling, how to introduce a subject in the right way, how to apply a consistent style of writing… From now on, readers of my reports are able to understand my points from the beginning. This results in a very clear picture of the described issues in the audit report.

Tracie’s background and experience matched our needs exactly. Not only did she provide valuable insight for our new report writing guideline, she also reviewed it for readability, contributing significantly to the end result. In April 2013, Tracie moderated a 2-day training event attended by 40 auditors, which was tailored to our exact requirements and fully met our expectations. As a result, our more reader-friendly, value-added audit reports have been noted at executive level. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracie as a trainer, coach and consultant for audit report writing!
Elspeth Elliot Corporate Audit, SAP June 30, 2013
I co-trained with Tracie for three years on a training project for the audit community of the European System of Central Banks from 2010 to 2013. The audit report writing training combined audit methodology with language theory and practice specifically for the audit function.
Tracie was the project manager and the lead trainer, responsible for all language aspects of the project and customization to the System’s audit methodology. Most importantly, Tracie designed and conducted extensive writing practice during the seminars, giving personal feedback to the participants during and after the workshops.
Over 150 auditors from central banks in the European Union have successfully completed the training program. Results include reinforcement of audit methodology, standardized usage of English across the System’s audit departments, better structured audit reports, a more efficient report writing process, and easier consolidation of reports.
Tracie’s experience with the European community and international companies provides her with a fine sensitivity to multicultural issues in communication styles. Being Canadian, she is unbiased to European national attitudes; she rather enjoys thoroughly working in such a diverse environment. It motivates her as a person and enriches her training.
From a personal standpoint, my previous experience in delivering training was limited to presentations and short sessions, including some in English. The above-mentioned program and Tracie’s insights and personal feedback, helped me to develop a more active and definitely interactive communication style, to sustain training programs over several days and using an array of teaching techniques.
Dirk Vermeiren Former Head of Internal Audit at National Bank of Belgium (1998 - 2009) January 13, 2012
I attended a course on Audit Report Writing held by Tracie and her team and I can say that she is a brilliant trainer, full of energy and passion for her job.
After the seminar, I developed a better understanding about effective communication in audit reports, which is very important for my job.
I also appreciated the fact that she quickly created a very friendly environment in the class, which made easier to complete all the challenging tasks proposed respecting the strict deadlines.
